Jasmin McMahon
Registered Psychologist | Trauma Focused Therapies

Jasmin is a Registered Psychologist who provides therapy in Camden for adults experiencing Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), anxiety, chronic stress, grief and significant life transitions. She also works with first responders under the NSW Workers Compensation scheme, supporting individuals who have experienced repeated or high-intensity exposure to traumatic events through their work.
Jasmin understands that trauma and prolonged stress can affect many areas of a person’s life. Clients may experience intrusive memories, hypervigilance, sleep difficulties, emotional overwhelm, burnout, persistent anxiety or a sense of feeling “stuck” following difficult experiences or major life changes. Others may be navigating grief, changes in identity or the psychological impact of demanding professional roles.
Her therapeutic approach is grounded in compassion, psychological safety and collaboration. Jasmin prioritises creating a calm, consistent and confidential space where clients feel respected and understood. Therapy moves at a pace that feels manageable for each individual, allowing clients to safely explore their experiences while developing practical strategies to restore stability and wellbeing.
Jasmin is trained in gold-standard trauma treatments, including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT). These approaches can support clients to process traumatic experiences, reduce trauma-related symptoms and develop skills to manage anxiety and stress more effectively.
Through therapy, Jasmin works collaboratively with clients to rebuild a sense of safety and control, strengthen emotional resilience and support meaningful recovery following trauma, loss or significant life change.
