Jodie Rodgers

Jodie is an experienced psychologist who welcomes children, adolescents and adult across a broad range of mental health presentations. Jodie has been working as a psychologist for over 15 years with special interest in attachment, anxiety and associated mental health difficulties.
Jodie offers a safe space for young clients to have a voice and explore their current concerns. She tailors her approach to suit individual needs, offering warmth, curiosity and empathy. Jodie believes that the therapeutic relationship is of the upmost importance.
Jodie previously completed a Bachelor of Psychology at the University of Western Sydney in 2003. She completed her Post Graduate Certificate in Psychological Practice obtaining her psychologist registration through the Australian College of Applied Psychology in 2005. She previously completed a Bachelor of Teaching – Early Childhood at the University of Western Sydney in 1998 before returning to further her education in human behavior.
As the director of the practice, Jodie’s experience ranges from her individual and family practice work to experience as a school psychologist, running school-based group programs and Crisis support services. Jodie also has experience in conducting formal assessment and report writing, making recommendations regarding the welfare of children and families through Assessments Australia.
Jodie is passionate about early intervention for young clients. She uses a range of evidence-based treatment approaches including: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused therapy, Exposure therapy and Cognitive Processing therapy.
Jodies days in the practice are Tuesday and Thursdays.
